Empire State of Mind.

Now there’s not much one can accomplish in 48 hours in New York (I’ve always wanted to say that!) and yet there is so much. Armed with an expert foodie I shuffled through farmers’ markets, flea markets, brunches and lunches in beautifully manicured gardens, China Town, Central Park and more.

I don’t think I’m equipped to write about this city – not yet anyway. So I’m just going to let the food do the talking till I find the right words.

And yes, I had the song playing in my head all through. Sigh.
